Feed Your Passion For Fishing The Flats Of Key West
 Much like hunting for deer, turkey or any game that requires hunters to stalk, wait out and surprise the query. Flats fishing has many of these elements to offer anglers. Patience,stealth and accurate casting are both required for a successful day on the flats. You do not need to know how to fly fish to fish the flats but a good understanding of a spin fishing rod will be quite helpful.
Flats fishing is good all year round but best in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Longer days, warmer temps and tropical weather patterns are all environmental ingredients that get our flats fishing species up in the skinny waters to feed.
Fish for the Key West Grand Slam. tarpon, permit and bonefish. All three of these fish caught in the same day is possible out of Key West.
We fish the flats with spin fishing gear and fly fishing gear. We offer some of the best equipment in the industry made for this sort of fishing but you may still bring your own.
A good bit of patience is required for flats fishing. Stalking and hunting fish requires being quiet and can take some time to get on them. Focus on casting techniques and ability to cast at a moments notice to a fish spotted by your fishing guide is required for success. Our traditional flats fishing Poling skiff will carry 2 persons. Although we suggest not more than 2 anglers per boat for flats fishing on any boat we can take up to 3 on a bay boat.
